Renting an instrument is the easy part. Proving it was the right instrument, in calibration, inspected, and in the hands of someone competent to use it — that is the part that fails an audit and the part that gets someone hurt. Every unit we rent leaves the shop certified, documented, and spec'd to the job you described.
Included with every rental
The equipment is the commodity. The documentation is why you rent it from an HSE consultancy instead of a general equipment yard.

How a rental works
Four steps- Describe the workTell us the task, the duration and the site conditions — not a product code. We will ask what you are actually trying to detect, prevent or prove.
- We spec the kitRight instrument, right sensors, right rating. If the job does not need the equipment you asked for, we will tell you that before we invoice you for it.
- Pickup or deliveryCollect in West Kelowna, or we deliver across the Okanagan, the Lower Mainland and the Alberta corridor. Rush and after-hours by arrangement.
- Return and recertifyWe re-inspect, recalibrate and file the records. Your certification package stays available if an audit or an investigation asks for it later.
Rental terms
Quote on request- Rates
- Quoted per job. Daily, weekly and monthly terms; weekly rates apply from day four. Multi-unit and project-length pricing on request.
- Minimum
- One-day minimum. A Friday-to-Monday return counts as one rental day.
- Consumables
- Calibration gas, sampling media, fit test solution, filters and cartridges are billed at cost and listed separately on the quote.
- Deposit & damage
- A damage deposit applies to instrumentation. Loss, unrepairable damage or a missing unit is charged at replacement value.
- Certification
- Every unit leaves calibrated and inspected with documentation. Units returned out of calibration or requiring sensor replacement are recertified at cost.
- Competency
- SCBA, supplied air, fit test equipment and confined space retrieval systems are released only to users who can demonstrate current training, or with training booked alongside the rental.
- Service area
- Pickup in West Kelowna. Delivery throughout the BC Interior, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Alberta by arrangement.

Equipment is supplied for use by trained and competent workers under the employer's own safety management system. Solutions HSE supplies certified, inspected equipment and documentation; the employer remains responsible for hazard assessment, safe work procedures, supervision and worker competency under the applicable OHS regulation.
